When installing Quickbooks 2008 it also installs the quickbooks pdf converter. The programs sets this as default. It makes it a pain because you constantly have to switch back and forth. To resolved this just delete the quickbooks pdf converter and make sure your printer is now default. This will fix this issue. The only down fall is the converter lets you save docs to a pdf, So if you utilize the feature you may want to just switch back and forth.

When connecting a router to your Verizon dsl modem. You must first have the email and password for verizon. Then login to the modem. The default is 192.168.1.1 , The login and pass is admin/password, Sometimes verizon will change it to admin/admin. Then change to bridge mode instead to pppoe. The connect the router. Access the router. Example: Linksys is 192.168.1.1. Then change dhcp to pppoe and put the verizon email and password in then hit apply. This is how to configure the router with a verzion dsl modem.

The comcast user name and password for the netgear/modem is Login:Comcast Pass:1234
